Email lists
When you join one of our email lists (including waitlists and early-access lists), we collect your name, email address, any answers you choose to give, and how you found us. We use this only to send you the emails you signed up for, such as early access, product updates and invitations to give feedback or vote on what we make. We email you only with your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Stories, features and feedback
If you share a story, feedback or photos with us, we use them to improve our products. We never publish your name, story or photos without your separate, written permission on the final text.

Social media messages
If you comment on or message our social media accounts, we receive your username and the messages you send, processed through the platform and the service providers we use to reply.

Affiliate and partner programs
If you apply to or join an affiliate, ambassador or partner program, we collect your name, contact details, social media handles, application answers and, if you are accepted, the details needed to track referrals and pay commissions, including tax and payment information. We use this to run the program, pay you and meet our legal obligations. Referral links may record visits and purchases made through them, which we use only to credit and pay referrals.

We rely on your consent for email lists and any public use of your story or photos, and you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier processing; on contract to process orders and run affiliate programs; on legitimate interests to keep our services secure, prevent fraud and understand how our services are used; and on legal obligation for tax and accounting.

Retention
We keep email list details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them; after that we keep only your email address so we do not email you again. Stories and feedback are kept for up to 24 months, or until you ask us to delete them. Affiliate records and order records are kept as long as required by tax and accounting law.
